(Amateur Apprentice Timber)

Purse $15,000. Timber. For Five-Year-Olds and Upward which have not won $12,000 once in 2015-2016. To be ridden by amateur apprentice riders. 170 lbs. Non-winners over timber, allowed 5 lbs. Riders who have never won a race, allowed 5 lbs. No other rider allowances. Entry fee $75; $75 additional if not scratched on time Wednesday; with $150 additional to start. Three Miles over Timber.
$7,500 of this purse, and an engraved goblet to the rider, have been donated by the National Steeplechase Foundation, for the promotion of amateur racing.
The owner of the winner will receive the Perpetual Trophy donated by the late Hermen and Monica Greenberg, to be held for one year, as well as a trophy for permanent possession.

Purse $30,000. Timber. For Five-Year-Olds and Upward. Five-year-olds, 160 lbs.; older, 165 lbs. Nomination fee $50; $100 additional to enter; $150 additional if not scratched on time Wednesday; with $300 additional to start. Supplementary nominations, at a cost of $250, may be made at the time of entry. Three Miles over Timber.
The owner of the winner will receive the Perpetual Bowl in memory of Janon Fisher, Jr., to be held for one year. The owner and rider of the winner will receive trophies for permanent possession.

SECOND  and THIRD RACES - post times 2:15 and 3:00
THE JOHN RUSH STREETT MEMORIAL​ Divisions I and II
(Amateur Maiden Timber)

Purse $15,000. Timber. For Five-Year-Olds and Upward which have never won over timber. Five-year-olds, 160 lbs.; older, 165 lbs. Entry fee $75; $75 additional if not scratched on time Wednesday; with $150 additional to start. Three Miles over Timber.
The owner of the winner will receive the Perpetual Trophy given by the late Mrs. Louis M. Fisher, to be held for one year. The owner and rider of the winner will receive trophies for permanent possession.
If this race attracts a sufficient number of entries, it will be “split” with a $15,000 purse in each division with funding provided by the National Steeplechase Foundation in support of safety and the overall development of the sport.
